What is dihydrostreptomycin, streptomycin acts on bacteria and germs in relation to many pathogenic microbes both Gram-positive and Gram-negative: Brucella (brucellosis), Calimatobacterium granulomatous (international) csdp, cd. Ducray (chancroid), Haemophilus, Mycobacterium tuberculosis, Pasteurella pestis, Streptococcus.   The antimicrobial activity of streptomycin is associated with inhibition of protein synthesis at the level of ribosomes in the microbial cell.
