 The animals are creatures that living with us on the earth. They are affected by nature, pollution, and any other factors that cause diseases to animals. So that, the scientists created a branch of medicine associated with the animals diseases and treating methods. This branch is called veterinary medicine.

●   Brucellosis

This veterinary disease is one of most famous diseases that caused by bacterial effects. This disease affects the childbearing ability for female animals, and the fertility for male animals. And also may cause some problems to the liver.

 

The Source

The main reason for this veterinary disease is the pig. The bacteria causing this disease live in the genitalia of the pig. The infection occurs by venereal connection. Also the infection occurs by ingestion of food and water contaminated by urine and the remains of placenta associated with an infected pig. The bacteria then transfer to another animal.

●   Worm Parasites

The worm parasites is a famous disease in animals caused by entrance of worms into the digestive system of the animal.

This veterinary disease occurs in birds and mostly in poultry. The chicken that eats from soil, may eat some worms from the soil, that cause the disease for it. Also the bird can pickup some worm eggs from the soil, and the egg hatches and matures inside the bird. The worm enters the digestive system of the fowl, and affect it negatively. The most common worms that cause diseases for poultry are: roundworm, hairworm, tapeworm. There are some other insects that may cause the same problem for chicken such as: beetles, snails, and slugs.

This veterinary disease occurs by fungal effect inside animal body. The fungi grows on the surface of some plants and seeds, which are eaten by animals. When these fungi enter the animal body, it causes some toxic problems, affecting animal bidy parts.

This veterinary disease begins when some fungi eggs hatch on the surface of some rotten plants and seeds, such as: peanut, corn, cotton, etc. Also the bad storing condition of seeds is a reason for existence of these fungi, especially hot and wet storing conditions. The most common fungi responsible for this disease are: paraciticus fungi, and aspergillus.

This veterinary disease is a fungal effet, that occurs in the skin of the animal. The ringworm occurs as red spot appearing on the animal skin. So that, this veterinary disease took its name.

 

The Source

The ringworm is a disease occurs in the animals as an effect of some types of fungi. These fungi cause some marks on the animal skin, and these marks look like small red round spots, which gradually increase in size. This fungal effect occurs when a contact takes place between the animal skin and any fungal agent.

●   Salmonella

This veterinary disease is a common bacterial disease that occurs in the bowel of the animal.

The bacteria of Salmonella live in the contaminated food or water. The ingestion of this contaminated food and water results in transfer of Salmonella bacteria to the digestion system of the animal.
